Absolute Asset

When we bought this beautiful farmhouse in Appeltern in 2002 we had no idea that part of it would become a Bed & Breakfast. Our family situation, the space, the beautiful area and our wish to share this great place with other people was our drive to restore the old and dilapidated barn into a great place to stay.

Whilst Derek was working hard at restoring the barn, I spent my time struggling through all the regulations to obtain the necessary permits.

Together we have realised an absolute asset to Maas en Waal, which has been  enriched last year by the opening of our Teagarden. A great excuse to enjoy our hospitality and to taste the yummiest home-baked cakes of the area.
